A BRAND NAME WITH DOUBLE MEANING

Many of our clients continue to work with us even when they change companies or decide to start a consulting business. This was the case with C2 Strategy. Shelley Mclean, past Director of Communications at Nordion, left the company to start her own Marketing and Communications coaching business.

Our initial meeting was to brainstorm the name and discuss the brand personality of Shelley’s new venture. C2 Strategy came out on top because of its double meaning: 1) C2 stands for CLEAR and CONCISE which were key value propositions around the service offering, and 2) Shelley’s two boys names are COLE and CAMERON. The marriage of business and personal struck a nice balance.

As for the brand personality, It was important to the client that we highlight personal character traits as well as business values. We created the info-graphic below to visually communicate the information.
